Capelinha ~ Chapel of the Apparitions

Capelinha marks the exact place where
She appeared to the three shepherd
children in 1917. The statue stands on a
pillar which was constructed over the
roots of the holm oak tree where Our
Lady appeared. Masses are said
continuously in many languages in the
Capelinha.
