became the Convent of the Poor Clares. In 1920, Our Lady appeared here to Jacinta and
told her many things, which Jacinta related to Mother Godinho, and which Mother Godinho
wrote down and are now documented in the archives of Fatima. Pictured is Jacinta’s bed
and the little chair that Our Lady sat on when She appeared to Jacinta. Our Lady told
Jacinta here that “Wars are nothing less than a consequence of sin.”
